The Blue Caboose TIC is now open! The CVB held a ribbon cutting/press conference at 10AM on Friday, May 16 to celebrate the opening! The Blue Caboose is owned and managed by the Lima-Allen County Convention & Visitors Bureau and staffed by nearly 30 volunteers. These Tourism Specialists give their time, enthusiasm, and knowledge to welcoming visitors to Lima and Allen County by providing local, state, and regional information and printed materials for inquisitive travelers. The Caboose is open seasonally from the end of May to Labor Day.

Christmas Tree Festival - 2008

Quarter-Scale Train Rides - North Pole Express

A REGIONAL EVENT -

November 28 - 30; December 5 - 7; 12 - 14; 19 - 21; 26 - 28.
Fridays: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Sundays: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, Inc., 11600 County Rd. 99, Findlay, OH 45840. (At the northeast corner of I-75 Exit #161).

Train rides: $2.00 Adults and $1.00 Children.
Admission: Purchase a train ride ticket or give a donation.

Note:  All train rides are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.  It is our intention to run our steam Engine 901 for Special Programs and Sunday rides, but we reserve the right to run alternate power.
Children under 42" tall must ride with an adult.

Lima Symphony - Bells, Brass & Bows

Celebrate the holiday season with the beloved return of Bells, Brass and Bows.  The Lima Symphony Chorus and the Lima City Arts Magnet students will join the Lima Symphony Orchestra for this festival of lights and holiday music.  With familiar Christmas carols such as Twelve Days of Christmas and Away in a Manger to fun new renditions of old classics like Snow Chase and Rhapsody on Christmas Carols, this concert is sure to get you in a festive spirit and will be one to share with the entire family.

Tony Orlando Christmas Show

Bluegrass Concert

A REGIONAL EVENT -

Three Band Bluegrass concerts are held in our beautiful Boatwhistle Memorial Hall. Hosted by Vernon McIntyre's Appalachian Grass, each concert features performances by at least three fine Bluegrass bands. Showtime: 3:00 p.m.

Lima Symphony - A Night at the Oscars
