Library Fundraiser - 2009Mondays - February 2, 9, 16, 23 9:00 a.m. Location: Lima Public Library. Gift baskets designed and created by Sarah Ricks of Sarah Ricks' Treasure Company will be raffled off to the public. Beautiful baskets will be on display in the front entry cases. Raffle tickets will be $1 each or six for $5. Sarah Ricks' Treasure Company received the 2008 Culturally Diverse Business of the Year Award by the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce.

Catholic Community Dinner Theatre - NunsenseFebruary 6, 7, 8, 12, & 13, 2009. Sunday, February 8: 2:00 p.m. (doors open at noon). All other performances begin at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. for dinner. Location: Knights of Columbus Hall, 810 S. Cable Rd., Lima.
This newly formed group plans to present three to four productions each year. This second production, Nunsense: the Mega Musical, is a "brand new" Nunsense and never before performed in Lima. The premise of CCD Theatre is to provide and promote good, inoffensive Catholic/Christian value productions while utilizing all Catholic artistic talent and fostering a family atmosphere. As a non-profit organization, CCD Theatre exists to donate any profits obtained from each production back to a designated community charity. A sumptuous buffet is planned for each production by the K of C staff, and a cash bar will also be available. Tickets are $30 for Adults and $20 for Youth (age 5-13 years).

This second concert in the series will be in the form of a musical Valentine featuring members of Trinity.
Members of the RWR concert team have scheduled three special concerts in which funds will be sought for scholarships for graduating high school seniors planning to enter the field of music after they complete their college education. Students may apply for scholarship through the Lima Kiwanis Club which coordinates the program each year.

Don McLean - his work, like the man himself is very deep and very compassionate. His pop anthem "American Pie" is a cultural phenomenon, and people are still trying to decode it after 35 years! He wrote other great songs like "And I Love You So", "If We Try", "Vincent (Starry Starry Night", etc.

The Native American Indian Gathering (also known as the Native American Powwow) will feature Indians dancing in full regalia!
The programs bring Native American educators, scholars, Tribal members and dancers from all over the United States and Canada into the local community to provide a "hands on" experience with the Native ways and culture.
Native food, native arts & crafts and native entertainment. Drums by invitation only. Traders by invitation only. No outside raffles or blanket dances. No drugs, alcohol, or firearms. Zero tolerance for violators.
