Library Fundraiser - 2009Mondays - January 5, 12, 19, 26 9:00 a.m. Location: Lima Public Library. Gift baskets designed and created by Sarah Ricks of Sarah Ricks' Treasure Company will be raffled off to the public. Beautiful baskets will be on display in the front entry cases. In the 18th Century, classical concerts were commonly played in castles for royalty or in churches. Without electricity, they would light candles and sit for hours as they listened intently to the majesty and splendor of Mozart's music. As you experience the music the way people of that time experienced it…in a historic church…surrounded by hundreds of glistening candles, the Mozart by Candlelight tour will take you back to the late 1700's.
