Bobby Goldsboro's music, lyrics and performances have reached generations of fans since his start in the early sixties, and he is one of the most influential singer/songwriters of our time. This multi-talented performer started out in the early sixties as a guitarist with the legendary Roy Orbison. In his solo career, he was recording such hits as "See the Funny Little Clown", "O Honey", "Watching Scotty Grow", "Little Green Apples", and "With Pen in Hand". All have become classics. In 1973 Bobby had his own nationally syndicated television show, and he next formed House of Gold Music which became one of the most successful music publishing companies in Nashville. As a songwriter, Bobby has received 27 B.M.I. awards. In the mid-eighties Bobby began to devote more time to writing and producing children's stories. The Swamp Critters of Lost Lagoon was seen on PBS, The Learning Channel and The Inspirational Networks. Bobby writes the scripts, writes and arranges all the music, plays all the instruments and even does all the character voices! Recently the energetic dynamo decided to start painting and has quickly gained a reputation as a world-class artist!
