Hiking access to the Miami-Erie Canal Towpath, picnic shelter, tables and drinking water.

The Miami-Erie Canal Corridor Associaton (MECCA) encompasses a 45-mile section of the Miami-Erie Canal. This section extends approximately 12 miles to the north of Deep Cut and 31 miles south of Deep Cut. The canal towpath is currently accessible and available for hiking. Improvements are currenly underway to enhance this 45-mile section. The towpath is a natural, grass path suitable for hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers.
