For the travel industry May is the beginning of the busy tourism season. Nationally it is officially celebrated during National Travel & Tourism Week which takes place May 5-13, 2012. The month of May is a kickoff for great events, outdoor attractions and summer vacations! This is the time of year when people really like to travel. Road trips near and far take place. With the recovering economy and gas prices, many folks are finding out just what Ohio has to offer. While making your summer road trip plans this year, remember to seek out all there is to do and see right in your own back yard!
